General Motors Sport Utility Vehicles are now factory equipped with the Stabilitrak system. Stabilitrak has made it more difficult to produce a suspension lift kit that does not interfere with the on-board computer systems. There are a number of lifts on the market that can prematurely activate the Stabilitrak system when driving around corners or on off-camber road surfaces. This CST suspension lift system DOES NOT HAVE STABILITRAK ISSUES! Ask some other lift kit builder if their kit is 100% compatible and see what they say! CST worked very hard to build this kit and it has two great features that CST is rightfully very proud of. CST is very confident when they say their 4" kit is one of few that is 100% compatible with the GM Stabilitrak system. Do your homework before you buy a kit for your new GM vehicle as most kits on the market still have Stabilitrak issues! The second major accomplishment that CST achieved with this lift is the factory track width will remain very close to how your SUV came off the assembly line if you use a wheel with 5.50" of back space. The CST lift is currently the only 4" lift available that does not increase the vehicle track width! That means no CV spacers and your tires will NOT be sticking way out of the fender well. If you want to increase the track width it's easy, simply select a wheel with less back space than the factory wheel!
CST one piece sub-frame with differential skid plate. Fabricated lift spindle uprights, aka steering knuckles. Replacement upper control arms with high misalignment ball joints. Steel factory strut drop spacers. Sway bar drop mounts. Differential drop mounts. Dual Cardan Style Front Drive shaft. Extended Braided Front Brake Hoses. Rear Coil Spacer and AutoRide Brackets. This CST lift is designed to retain the factory AutoRide front and rear shocks. For this reason replacement shocks are not included.
This suspension system can be installed on vehicles equipped with the AutoRide rear suspension! The necessary Auto Ride Shock Bracket Kit is included with this system and is another reason why the kit price is more expensive than non-AutoRide kits. This suspension system is a 100% complete solution for AWD and Denali edition vehicles. CST recommends the use of a 33" tall tire on 8" wide wheels. CST does admit that larger tires may fit but your mileage may vary. Ideally, a 33" tall tire on an 8" wide wheel with 5.00 inches of back space is recommended. If you want to run a larger tire we'd suggest performing a test fit before mounting up and installing all four tire/wheel combos.
