CST designed their CSS-C2-11 Upper Control Arm Kit to provide additional wheel travel over the factory GM arm. The CST Pro-Joint Ball Joint actually provides more travel than a standard 1" Uni-Ball. The nice thing about the CST Pro-Joint is it is a sealed unit and is user serviceable. Exposed Uni-Balls can quickly become damaged or worn out in harsh climates. The CST Pro-Joint solves this as the boot keeps the grease in and the gunk out! The CSS-C2-11 Upper Control Arms are built using DOM Steel, are MIG Welded, and feature the CST Pro-Joint Ball-Joint. The price includes a complete upper control arm kit that consists of a pair of CST Upper Arms, all necessary urethane pivot bushings and metal sleeves, and a pair of CST Pro-Joint ball-joints. CST includes printed installation instructions.
Please note that the taper on the CST Pro-Joint does matche the factory steering knuckle taper. This means the CSS-C2-11 will bolt right up to a factory GM Steering knuckle. If you have a CST suspension lift and for some reason are looking for a replacement arm with a larger than stock upper ball-joint taper this product will NOT fit as this arm includes ball-joints with the OEM size taper.
