CST 2000-2006 Suburban Tahoe Yukon 6-8" Lift - 1500 Series # CSS-C3-3

This CST lift is an extensive suspension system, an absolute requirement since new GM SUV and SUT independent front suspension is a complex design. On the 4wd vehicles the suspension incorporates an IFS 4WD driveline. Basically, the CST system drops the entire front suspension and driveline down 6 inches through the use of a special high strength 1-piece welded steel sub-frame. Steel spacers, brackets, and struts lower and support the front differential, custom mounts relocate the torsion bars, a fabricated dropped center link provides precise steering action, and anti-sway bar spacers allow for stock sway bar retention. A spring spacer kit is also included as is all of the required installation fasteners. Heavy Duty and Bulletproof are words that owners use when they comment on this kit. This kit requires the use of longer than stock shock absorbers. Please note that 4wd AutoTrac equipped vehicles must replace the stock front driveshaft. For those of you looking to add a Front Dual Shock Kit to this lift CST has got you covered. To put together a complete front dual shock kit you must purchase the CST Dual Shock Hoop Kit AND the CST Dual Shock Upper Arm Kit. To achieve the 8 inches of lift height a pair of aftermarket Torsion Kift Keys will be required. Instructions are included with this kit however PerformanceLifts.com and CST Performance Suspension both recommend this kit be installed by a professional mechanic.
