ICON Vehicle Dynamics Ford Excursion 3" Suspension System. Fits 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 Excursion 4x4 models only. Will NOT fit 2wd models. ICON starts with laser cut pieces to ensure a precise fit and finishes up with some of the prettiest and strongest welds you'll ever see in a production lift kit. Yes, this lift kit is super strong and it rides great... but the real beauty of the Icon 43000-99 3" lift spring hanger and shackle kit is it allows the stock front leaf springs to be reused and makes for a super easy installation. The best feature is this kit provides increased suspension travel and better shock absorbers which allow this kit to ride better than stock!

Ford Excursion owners wanting to level their SUV generally run the 3" front lift in the front and a 2" lift for the rear. Excursion SUV's do not sit as low in the front compared to the F-250 and F-350 trucks. PerformanceLifts.com recommends all customers measure the difference in front to rear height to determine the correct rear block kit as Excursion heights do vary. If you want to lift your vehicle and retain the factory look, (higher in the rear) a taller rear block kit will be required. This Icon Vehicle Dynamics Excursion 3" lift system comes complete with BULLETPROOF spring hanger brackets and replacement front shackles. With no change in spring rate and the optional Bilstein 5100 or Icon V.S. Signature series shock absorbers, the ride quality cannot be beat. This Icon system is very plush and extremely drivable in the corners and maintains the factory tow ratings. The Icon V.S. Signature series shock is the best riding shock we offer for this lift, slightly better than the Bilstein but more expensive as Icon produces their V.S. series shock absorbers in-house. The Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorber has a Limited Lifetime Warranty whereas the Icon V.S. Shock warranty is only 90 days. All required hardware and fasteners necessary to install this kit are included, as are detailed instructions.

Optional Items:
An adjustable pan rod bar is available for 2000-2005 4x4 Excursion vehicles and is highly recommended. The adjustable pan rod bar allows you to easily adjust the position of the front axle under the vehicle and get it properly centered beneath the frame rails. The ICON Adjustable Pan Rod Bar # 39290 is considered a necessity by PerformanceLifts.com and ICON Vehicle Dynamics.

This 3" lift kit fits 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 model year 4x4 Excursion only and works with all power and drivetrain configurations, including the 7.3L and 6.0L PowerStroke Diesels, as well as those equipped with the 5.4L V8 and 6.8L V10 Triton gas motors.
