This RCD 5" suspension lift kit fits 1997-2002 Ford Expedition 4x4 SUV's equipped with the E4OD automatic transmission. Please note this particular RCD 10-42131 suspension kit will not fit front or rear air ride equipped models unless you convert the vehicle to a standard spring and shock system. This lift will fit all 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 model year Ford Expedition 4x4 vehicles equipped with the 5.4L V8 engine and E4OD transmission. This kit is not designed for use on Factory Ford Air Ride equipped models.

Please note you must verify transmission type before ordering. This lift is designed for use with the E4OD automatic transmission. The easiest method to verify which transmission your Expedition has is to measure the transmission oil pan. The E4OD oil pan measures approximately 13" x 23" with a rectangular shape. Please note, this RCD 10-42131 kit is not designed for use with 4R70W equipped vehicles. The 4R70W can be identified by its 13" x 13" square shaped pan. This kit will clear most 33" tire when mounted on 16x8 wide rims and wheel back space must not exceed 4.5". RCD recommends a maximum tire size of 33 x 12.5 mounted on 16 x 8 wheels. To clear a 35" tire will require inner wheel well and fender trimming.
