Be the first to review this product

This RCD / Bilstein F4-BE5-E981-T0 shock absorber is designed for use on the rear of a lifted 2007-2012 Toyota Tundra truck. Please note, this shock is longer than a stock Toyota shock and should only be used on the rear of a lifted vehicle. These RCD / Bilstein shocks have the correct Toyota upper and lower mounts which makes them direct bolt-on replacements... no modifications necessary! This is the same shock absorber that RCD uses with their 2007-2012 Toyota Tundra 6" suspension lift. The F4-BE5-E981-T0 was designed specifically by RCD to work with their 4" block lift that is included with their 6" Suspension Lift System.

For over 40 years Bilstein has been a unique and driving force in the automotive suspension industry. During that time Bilstein Gas Pressure Shock Absorbers have proven to be the best. Yes, the best. If you've never experienced the exhilaration you feel when driving a vehicle equipped with Bilstein Shocks, you're in for a pleasant surprise. You'll soon discover there is, quite literally, nothing like it. Unbelievable control. Precise handling. Ultimate performance. And incredible comfort. Bilstein performance shocks put most stock shocks to shame.

Most conventional shocks are made with shock bodies cut from a piece of steel tubing, stamped internal parts and compromised tolerances. In contrast, Bilstein shock bodies are precision formed through a unique seamless extrusion process. This provides superior strength along with high finish tolerances that are usually associated with surgical instruments. The finished body is then mated with a solid, induction hardened steel chrome plated and polished shaft, machined valving components and the highest quality seals available. Combine these features with extreme attention to detail and Bilstein provides you with the closest thing to a hand built shock available today. Conventional shocks can lose efficiency and eventually fail over a period of time causing excessive tire and suspension wear. Bilstein Shocks continue to deliver optimum performance for the life of the vehicle.

Of all your suspension components, nothing works harder than your shock absorbers, making it critical you pick the right ones for your vehicle. Bilstein Gas Pressure Shock Absorbers are the least expensive, fastest way to dramatically improve the ride, handling and control of your Tundra.

This item includes one Bilstein F4-BE5-E981-T0 shock absorber. To purchase a pair requires that you adjust your purchase quantity to 2 before completing the checkout process. These shocks are application specific and are designed for use on the rear suspension of all 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, or 2012 model year Toyota Tundra equipped with a 3" to 5" rear lift. This shock will fit Regular Cab, Double Cab, and Crew Max models. This shock fits 2wd and 4x4 models!

Price Information:
Bilstein has raised their pricing across the board on the entire line of shock absorbers and RCD has done the same. This is an RCD part number that does not follow the regular Bilstein price structure. Yes, this RCD / Bilstein part number is more expensive than a regular Bilstein 5100 series shock. This particular RCD / Bilstein part number can only be purchased through an RCD dealer. This RCD / Bilstein shock absorber is the best we've found in this price range and we still feel the shock offers excellent value, even at the higher RCD price.
