WARN engineers faced a challenge when they set out to develop a synthetic rope for winching. The rope had to be light weight, durable and easy to handle-but it also needed to maintain high tensile strength over a wide range of temperatures. What they came up with is a unique design that provides the optimal balance of performance characteristics needed by rock crawlers and owners of advanced trail rigs. This WARN Spydura Synthetic Winch Rope combines the best attributes of two types of high-performance fibers, woven into one rope. 100' of 3/8" - diameter synthetic rope Constructed of a unique ultra high molecular weight polyethylene material Delivers high abrasion resistance and excellent tensile strength Coated with black urethane for increased UV and chemical resistance Includes a high temperature resistant sleeve on the first layer, and a unique self-tightening rope attachment designed to hold the rope secure on the winch drum A ballistic nylon sliding sleeve provides extra protection against abrasion and wear For WARN mid-frame truck winches with 10,000 lb. (4535 kgs) pull rating or less (excludes M8274-50) Because of the unpredictable and potentially abusive loads placed on recovery gear, it is not returnable and carries no warranty. Rope (wire, synthetic, or otherwise) is a wear item, and must be inspected regularly for wear, damage, etc.
