AFE's new 51-11322 Air Intake system is designed for use on the 2008 Toyota Scion xD L4-1.8L equipped vehicles. While most owners agree Scion xD looks great the performance could be better. That's where AFE comes in with their new Air Intake System. By reducing restrictions in the factory system AFE has been able to increase air flow by 45%. This helps produce up to 6 additional horsepower and 7 additional ft/lb of torque.

This improvement in air flow will also help raise the fuel economy, but only if you can keep your foot out of the throttle! By reducing the restriction in the air intake system AFE has helped reduce the amount of energy the engine must use to draw air in. Reducing the pumping losses actually helps to increase fuel mileage!
