This BMS Upper Control Arm Kit is designed for use on the 2001-2010 model year Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500 series, GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 trucks. This arm fits both 2wd and 4x4 models. BMS has designed their upper control arm kit to bolt into the stock upper arm pivot location and features a pin adapter that allows it to be used with the stock steering knuckle. That means no fabrication, cutting or welding is necessary to install the BMS upper arm kit, it's a 100% bolt-on item! This BMS upper control arm kit is compatible with most aftermarket shock upgrade kits and is designed to allow for additional suspension travel by increasing the amount of droop (suspension extension). Semi-gloss black powder coat To get the most performance from this BMS Upper Arm Kit you will need to also purchase an aftermarket shock absorber that is designed for use with an aftermarket upper arm kit. Fox Racing, Bilstein, King Racing Shocks, all offer Extended Travel shocks that work well with this control arm kit. Stock length shocks will reach full extension before the upper arm tops out. That means using a factory shock will limit wheel travel! To get the most performance from your GM truck a high end shock absorber is required. Please note, the King Racing coilover shocks displayed in the item picture are NOT included. This item includes one complete BMS BMS-C-34-01-UCA GM 2500HD / 3500 upper control arm kit.
