Borla uses a straight-through muffler design that reduces back pressure which helps improve performance. This Borla exhaust system is a cat back design. The exhaust is routed through one primary muffler and then is split and exits through a pair of rear mounted exhaust tips. The Borla exhaust tips are a thing of beauty. Borla has built resonators into the exhaust tips to help further reduce exhaust noise levels and to help mellow out the exhaust note of the 5.6L V8. This exhaust system provides a smooth mellow note without the raspy high picthed pops that some other systems can cause.
