This Bilstein 5100 series coilover for the popular Toyota Tundra Pickups will provide 4wd Tundra trucks approximately 2-inches of lift over stock height and 2wd Tundra Trucks approximately 3-inches of lift over stock height. These new Bilstein 5100 series coilover shocks utilize technology developed through over 30 years of off-road racing victories. In fact, more races have been won on Bilstein shocks than on any other shock absorber. These new BTS-7514-H5 shocks feature a ride height adjustable threaded body, vehicle specific split valving and Bilsteins patented high pressure gas monotube technology. The new Bilstein shocks for the Toyota Tundra also incorporate a billet upper mount stem conversion which allows the use of eye to eye mounting. This allows the shock to articulate throughout the entire suspension travel without the spring bind associated with other designs. The Bilstein BTS-7514 coilover also uses OEM mounting bushings for long life and includes a Bilstein/Hyperco 2.5" progressive rate spring, and all spring mounting hardware. As with all 5100 series shocks it comes Zinc plated and has a lifetime aftermarket warranty. For customers looking to improve the rear ride of the Tundra, PerformanceLifts.com strongly suggests adding the Bilstein companion rear 5100 shocks with matched valving. The rear shocks are part number BE5-AO14-H5 and really make a noticeable ride quality improvement. Please note that 4wd Tundra owners should limit lift to 2 inches - additional lift on 4wd Tundras can cause CV boot damage. 2wd Tundra owners can get approximately 3 inches of lift with these coilover shocks. These Bilstein coilovers are shipped pre-assembled so installation is quick and easy and requires only basic hand tools. Most customers are able to install both coilovers in under an hour! Please note that the alignment should be checked and adjusted as necessary after the installation of these coilover shocks. This item ships for free via ground service to all addresses located in the lower 48 United States of America!
