Chevrolet & GMC HD Series 4" Lift Spindle - 2wd Only! These CST Performance Suspension 4" lift spindles are designed to fit all 2001 through 2010 HD series trucks built on the 2wd chassis. Will not fit 2011 model year GM 2500HD. These CST fabricated spindles are much stronger than stock, even stronger than the CST cast 4" spindle, and provide an honest 4 inches of lift. These 4" lift spindles are excellent for use either by themselves or in addition to a complete 6-8" or 9-11" CST suspension lift kit. Please note, this item will absolutely NOT fit any 4x4 models! These spindles are for use with stock control arms and retain a stock like ride. The 4" CST lift spindles not only increase lift for larger tires, they also increase the front ground clearance by a full 4-inches! CST built these spindles to outlast your truck and include CST's limited lifetime warranty. The fabricated 4" spindle is overkill for most applications, that's why CST offers a 4" version of this same spindle in a cast iron construction. This spindle is for the customer that either drives VERY aggressively offroad or is running a CST 6-8" kit or CST 9-11" kit and wants to achieve 10" or more lift. Looking for more than 4" inches of lift? Add a set of torsion lift keys to get 5" to 6" of total suspension lift. The torsion keys that we sell are genuine GM products and will allow an additional 1" to 2" of lift height over stock. When torsion keys are added to the 4" CST spindles you can increase the front ride height up to 6 inches, enough to clear a 37" tire on the 2500HD truck with some minor trimming! A rear lift of some sort is recommended. Most customers opt to run a short block and U-bolt kit. This 4" lift spindle can be used with stock or stock length shocks. If using the spindle and a set of torsion keys, longer front shocks are recommended. Will not work with stock (factory wheels). A 17" diameter wheel with no more than 4.625" of back space should be used. Larger diameter wheels can normally allow for an increase in wheel back space.
