CST Performance Suspension is known for building the finest suspension lift systems that money can buy. In a recent Petersen's 4-Wheel & Off-Road lift kit shootout the CST Silverado kit for 1999-2006 vehicles was voted BEST OVERALL KIT! CST has taken the same winning engineering and construction talent and applied it to their new lift for 2007+ Silverado and Sierra pickup trucks. The 2007 and newer GM trucks are built on an all new chassis and this required CST to start over with a clean sheet of paper...Most 2007 model GM fullsize pickup trucks are factory equipped with General Motors Stabilitrack system. Stabilitrack has made it more difficult to produce a suspension lift kit that does not interfere with the on-board computer systems. There are a number of lifts on the market that activate the Stabilitrack system when driving around corners or on off-camber road surfaces. This CST suspension lift system DOES NOT HAVE STABILITRACK ISSUES! Ask some other lift kit builder if their kit is 100% compatible and see what they say! CST worked very hard to build this kit and it has two great features that CST is rightfully very proud of. CST is very confident when they say their 4" kit is one of few that is 100% compatible with the GM Stabilitrack system. Do your homework before you buy a kit for your new GM vehicle as most kits on the market still have Stabilitrack issues! The second major accomplishment that CST achieved with this lift is the factory track width will remain exactly the way it came off the assembly line if you use a wheel with 5.50" of back space. The CST lift is currently the only lift available that does not increase vehicle track width! That means no CV spacers and your tires will NOT be sticking way out of the fender well. If you want to increase the trackwidth it's easy, simply select a wheel with less back space than the factory wheel! Kit Components
CST one piece sub-frame with differential skid plate. Fabricated lift spindle uprights, aka steering knuckles. Replacement upper control arms with high misalignment ball joints. Extended front brake hoses. Steel factory strut drop spacers. Sway bar drop mounts. Differential drop mounts. Rear block & u-bolt kit. CST offers but does not include rear shocks with this kit... PerformanceLifts.com knows the kit isn't complete without rear shocks and that's why we include them in one low package price! CST recommends the use of a 33" tall tire on 8" wide wheels. CST does admit that larger tires may fit but your mileage may vary. Ideally, a 33" tall tire on an 8" wide wheel with 5.00 inches of back space is recommended. If you want to run a larger tire we'd suggest performing a test fit before mounting up and installing all four tire/wheel combos.
