This CST Performance Suspension lift kit is designed to provide 2007 or newer Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 owners with the highest quality 8" suspension lift available on the market today! This 8" lift kit is built around a 1-piece fully welded steel subframe that drops the front differential and lower control arms the full 8" inches. This is important because it helps to maintain the factory axle shaft operating angle and prevents any movement that can occur on a multi-piece subframe. The factory GM front shock and spring assembly is retained and ensures a very smooth highway ride. CST knows that their product must be the very best and for this reason they choose to fabricate their replacement steering knuckles out of premium sheet steel using CNC machined parts. Most companies use cast knuckles, CST doesn't because they know fabricated steel knuckles are stronger than cast. And because CST is overly concerned with strength and reliability, they include a heim steering kit that is mounted in double-shear at the steering knuckle! Want to go even bigger than 8" inches? You can! By simply adding the CST Performance Coilover you can achieve up to 9" of total suspension lift height! If that's still not enough lift, you can also add a 3" body lift to the 9" suspension lift for a combined height of 12" inches! The CSS-C3-14 8" lift will easily clear a 35" tire and with the correct wheel width and backspace, 36" tires are possible with trimming. The CST 8" kit is designed to allow the use of both factory or aftermarket wheels and does NOT require the use of wheel spacers. The CST kit does increase track width 1.5" inches but can use a wheel with factory back space which allows the customer to decide how wide or narrow his or her truck looks by selecting a wheel with more or less back space. This kit is 100% complete and includes EVERYTHING necessary for installation! Yes, a pair of CST rear shocks are included in the purchase price.
