CST Performance Suspension CSS-C3-6 1500HD and 2500HD 6-8 Suspension Lift Kit! CST has built a reputation for building the highest quality suspension lift systems available. This CST CSS-C3-6 kit is another example of why CST design and construction is worth paying more for. Based on the design and success of the original CST Silverado 6-8" lift kit, CST offers a true 6" lift for the 4x4 GM HD series trucks. These 1500HD and 2500HD lifts utilize the famous CST 6" welded subframe drop-down brackets that have made CST lift kits known around the world as the strongest kits money can buy. Dependability and reliability is built into every CST kit and this HD series kit really is HEAVY DUTY! The upper control arm is dropped to help maintain the stock geometry. Dropping the upper arm also allows CST to keep the front track width as close as stock to possible. Other kit manufacturers like Fabtech, Rancho, and RCD, all increase the front track width. The CST kit will even allow you to run stock wheels if you want! By retaining the factory front end width the fenders do a better job of covering the tires, preventing road debris from damaging your vehicles paint. At 6 inches of lift the CST kit has perfectly flat front axle shaft angles. This allows you to adjust ride height by an additional two inches without damaging the CVs. This CST feature allows HD owners to adjust vehicle height between 6 and 8 inches of lift. This is nice because you can custom tailor the lift height to your own preference. This 6 - 8" HD lift kit includes all necessary hardware to lift the vehicle 6 inches... however, if you wish to achieve 8" inches of total lift you must also purchase a pair of aftermarket torsion lift keys. These keys are available separately below. CST includes a 5" rear lift block and u-bolt kit to raise the rear. Rear spring packs are now available for customers that do not want to run a 5" block in the rear. Custom leaf packs are a great addition to the 1500HD and 2500HD trucks because they reduce axle wrap under acceleration and provide a smoother and more comfortable ride than the factory springs. Replacement rear springs packs can and do provide a huge improvement in ride quality over stock!

Note: 2500HD 4wd trucks equipped with the Allison transmission do NOT need a replacement front driveshaft. All other 4wd HD vehicles must purchase the CST replacement dual cardan driveshaft. PerformanceLifts.com offers genuine CST replacement front driveshafts below.

CST offers their own line of shocks that are designed specifically for use with their suspension lift kits and are very similar in design and construction to the Bilstein 5100 series shock. The more popular Dual Front Shock kit requires the CST dual shock control arm and the CST dual shock upper hoop mount kit. Combine the CST front dual shock kit with a pair of Fox 2.0 reservoir shocks and you've got a great looking combo that provides additional damping for increased off-road performance and reliability.
