This new CST Performance Suspension lift kit is designed to fit all 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 model year 2wd F150 trucks with the new body style. This kit will absolutely NOT fit the Heritage Edition 2004 F150.CST has again produced a suspension lift system that's second to none. A two piece subframe that's locked together using a nearly bulletproof skid plate, a factory strut spacer, taller steering knuckles, and extended brake hoses round out the basics of the front end components. Using a drop subframe and a taller steering knuckle allows CST to provide 7" of suspension lift and still deliver a very smooth and comfortable ride. By retaining the factory front strut you get to keep that nice soft factory ride. It's also less expensive as you do not have to replace the front spring or strut. But if the marshmellow ride is not what you are after CST has got you covered... a CST / Fox Racing coilover is also available as an upgrade. This coilover is built specifically for use with the CST 7" suspension lift and includes coil springs with a slightly higher spring rate and more aggressive shock valving. The CST / Fox coilover is exactly what a customer that takes his or truck out in the dirt needs. The rear is lifted via a 3" block and U-bolt kit. Why does CST lift the front 7" inches and the back only 3" inches? This is done to LEVEL the truck. The new 2004+ 2wd F150 arrives from the factory with a horrid front to rear rake. If you like the old school "stink bug" dragster look let us know, we can help. The rest of you will be happy to know this kit will LEVEL most trucks. If you frequently tow or haul a taller rear block or add-a-leaf is both recommended and available. It's not included with the base kit, so please contact PerformanceLifts.com for additional information on rear lift options. Shocks... this kit can retain the factory front strut... but why do that when CST offers the Fox Racing Shox built replacement coilover? The CST / FOX coilover is a direct fit replacement for the crummy factory strut. If money is tight the CST / FOX coilover can always be installed later. That means you really only need to purchase a set of rear shocks. PerformanceLifts.com strongly recommends the CST line of mono-tube pressurized shocks. The CST shock for use with this kit has a Silver powdercoat finish and a black boot. It looks great and is designed for use specifically for the back of a lifted truck. It rides great and for the money you cannot beat the CST line of shocks. If ride quality isn't as important as money, and you'd rather save a few bucks, we also offer the generic Fabtech FTS7333 shock. The Fabtech 7333's are pretty cheap but remember that you are getting what pay for. If you want to show off or want the ability to rebuild your rear shocks, the Fox 2.0 with Reservoir is for you. It screams RACE and looks great.
