This item is easily half the price of a subframe kit and provides the necessary lift to clear a good looking tire and wheel combination. Plus, you get excellent ground clearance with this kit! If money is tight this spindle lift has the ability to retain the stock front shocks. Please note that shocks are not included. All shocks are purchased separately and are available from the drop down selection boxes below. If your budget allows, PerformanceLifts.com recommends the stock shocks be replaced when installing the CST spindle lift. The stock shocks are not designed to control the added weight of larger wheels and off-road tires and the ride they provide proves this. A performance shock absorber will considerably improve the handling and ride of a lifted vehicle. PLC recommends the CST Performance CSR and Rancho 9000XL series shock absorbers for use with this lift. Spending a little more money on shocks for a street truck might seem like a waste, but trust us, it's actually money very well spent! A quality shock is key to achieving a good street ride quality. Cheap "off-road" shocks aren't the correct choice if pavement ride quality is what you seek! The rear of your Silverado or Sierra HD can be lifted using a simple and reliable block and u-bolt kit. We let the customer select their own rear block lift height because everyone seems to want something different. PerformanceLifts.com offers all sorts of different rear block heights that allow you to get your truck sitting exactly how you want it to. A 2" rear block kit will level most Silverado or Sierra trucks with the 4" spindle lift installed up front. Some customers may want to consider a 3" rear block if they prefer the rear of their truck to sit ever so slightly higher than the front. When running a torsion bar adjustment in conjunction with the CST 4" lift spindle you might need a 4" or 5" rear block to get the look you want. When lifting the rear of your truck you must replace the stock length shocks with a longer shock absorber. This California SuperTrucks spindle lift will increase front track width approximately 1 inch per side. Please Note: Wheels must not have more than 4.625 inches of back space. Stock wheels will NOT work with these CST lift spindles! The CST CSS-C1-4 spindle can also be used with the CST 6-8" and 9-11" subframe suspension lift kits.
