This CST Performance Suspension F150 long travel control arm kit is designed for use on all 2wd 1997-2003 Ford F150 trucks, including the SuperCrew 4-door models. The CST F150 long travel control arm kit now incorporates a uni-ball in the upper and lower control arm for improved strength and increased reliability, something you cant have enough of whether you are charging through the desert whoops or cruising the local streets. The CST long travel control arms are designed for use with the Fox 2.5 8" travel coilover shocks. When used with the required CST uni-ball ready lift spindles, total lift height is approximately 6 to 7 inches. These CST long travel Ford F-150 control arms are 3 inches wider per side (6 front track width increase overall) and require fiberglass fenders to properly clear oversize tires. PerformanceLifts.com strongly suggests the use of a flared front fiberglass fender to prevent tire or OEM metal fender damage during off-road use.Please note that the Fox coilovers shown in the picture are NOT included with the control arm kit, these items must be purchased separately. To put together a complete suspension system will require the purchase of additional items located below. A complete kit will require the control arm kit, 8" travel 2.5" body coil over shocks, coilsprings, CST uni-ball spindles, rear lift and rear shock absorbers. Because this is a performance oriented suspension lift kit, PerformanceLifts.com strongly suggests the use of a Deaver rear spring pack to provide lift. Deaver springs are designed for off-road use and will allow you to increase rear wheel travel that will help create a well balanced 2wd truck that rides very nice on and off-road. A block kit is available... however it would be a shame to have a coilover front end capable of so much performance and then run a basically stock rear system.
