MADE IN AMERICA! This CST 6-8" lift kit will lift your 2500 series (not for use on HD models!) truck, Suburban 2500 or Avalanche 2500 a full 6 to 8" inches over stock! The CST 6-8" lift kits are still without a doubt the finest suspension lift systems available for the 2000-2006 GM full-size 4x4 trucks and 3/4 ton SUV. The CST 6-8" lift is an extensive suspension system and is an absolute requirement since the 1999-2006 GM suspension is a complex design which incorporates an independent front suspension. Basically, the CST 6-8" lift system drops the entire front suspension and driveline down 6 inches through the use of a special high strength 1-piece welded steel sub-frame. Steel spacers, brackets, and struts lower and support the front differential, custom spring mounts relocate the torsion bars, a fabricated dropped center link provides precise steering action, and anti-sway bar spacers allow for stock sway bar retention. A block and u-bolt kit is also included to lift the rear and and all required installation hardware is included. Heavy Duty and Bulletproof are words that owners use when they comment on this kit. If you are looking for a lift that behaves as well on the road as it does off-road, the CST 2500 series 6-8" kit is for you. This kit does not include shock absorbers. PerformanceLifts.com recommends the CST shock because it is designed and built by CST for use with their lift.
