Silverado and Sierra Owners - Here is CST's Top Dog Of 2wd Suspension Systems... CST Coilover Long Travel Suspension! Looking for an awesome long travel suspension system for your 1999-2006 2wd Silverado or Sierra that won't break your budget? Look no further, the CST 7" long travel coilover kit is what you need. This suspension system is built around the CST upper and lower control arms - these arms are 3 inches wider per side and increase the front track width a full 6 inches over stock. Also included in this coilover kit is a new upper shock hoop that allows the use of 8" travel 2.5" diameter coil over shocks offered by manufacturers such as Fox Shocks, Sway-A-Way, and Bilstein! CST has created a long travel lift system that dramatically increases usable wheel travel while still providing an excellent on-road ride. Keep in mind that this lift system requires the front factory steel fenders be replaced with aftermarket fiberglass fenders - this is to provide clearance for the wider front track width. The upper shock mount hoop kit MUST be welded into place by a qualified welder! Front wheel travel is approximately 14-15 inches. This CST long travel system requires the removal of the stock OEM coil spring system and replaces it with a coilover shock (available separately below). Installation of this kit does require cutting and welding - all of which needs to be performed by a competent installer. This control arm kit now ONLY works as part of the 7" CST long travel kit. CST has built new 4" lift fabricated spindles designed for use with the uni-ball equipped control arms. The CST hand fabricated 4" lift spindles are made with CNC machined parts, 1018 steel, and provide an exact 4" of lift. When combined with the coilovers you get approximately 6 to 7" of lift and a very capable off-road ready 2wd truck that will clear 35" tires. This long travel lift system includes: CST long travel upper control arms with pre-installed uni-balls, long travel lower control arms with pre-installed uni-balls, coil over hoop mount kit, and uni-ball hardware.

This kit uses coil over front shocks. PerformanceLifts.com recommends the Fox 2.5 8" travel shock as it is readily available (normally ships within 24-48 hours) and works extremely well with this application.
