Please call before ordering! This item fits 1988-1998 K1500 6-lug Chevrolet and GMC K1500 series trucks and 1992-1999 6-lug Tahoe, Suburban, and Yukon vehicles. One year after releasing the 6.5" GM IFS suspension lift system, Dick Cepek was flooded with comments from shop owners, mechanics, magazine editors and consumers. The comments were Its the best Chevy kit on the market!, Excellent fit and quality, All my problems with the other kit went away when I put on the Dick Cepek kit, Superior Design, its the only system Id put on my vehicle! The industry is finding out what we already knew, Dick Cepek has the best engineered 6.5" GM IFS suspension system on the market today. Period! The 6.5" Race Series II system comes complete with extreme duty front and rear crossmembers, upper control arm drop down brackets with oversized alignment cams for superior alignment and a crossmember that connects the two brackets from one side of the frame to the other. No other kit has this strengthening feature. Kit also includes low profile steering centerlink and more. Remember, lift is achieved by how far the control arms are placed from the stock position. The Dick Cepek placement is at a full 6.5" over stock, unlike other brands that require cranking up the torsion bars up to achieve the same amount of lift. The Dick Cepek system provides a stock-like ride at 6.5" with superior fender clearance for 35" tires. The Dick Cepek Series II lift system includes all the brackets from the Series I, plus Dick Cepeks exclusive, fully adjustable X member with heim ends which locks in the front and rear crossmembers and horizontal impact struts. Cepek no longer includes stainless steel brake lines with their Series II kit. The Series II system is highly recommended for the serious off-roader. The standard included rear lift method is a 5" block. Available as an option is a 5" block with an Add-A-Leaf. Please note: Dick Cepek recommends their Series 77 shock absorbers be used with this suspension lift. Dual front shock kits can be purchased separately using the drop down selection box located beneath this item description. Vehicles equipped with the AutoTrac system MUST purchase a dual cardan driveshaft to prevent front driveline vibration.
