This Icon Vehicle Dynamics 7-1500 adjustable coilover is designed to fit the new body style 2007+ Chevrolet 1500 and Sierra 1500 pickup trucks. These Icon coilover shocks can be used on both 2WD and 4WD models and are adjustable from 0 - 2" of lift. When adjusted to provide 2" of lift over stock, this coilover can be used to level the Silverado and Sierra. What does this mean, a level truck will no longer have the slanted "raked" look. We understand that some customers prefer the factory stance and want the rear of their truck to sit taller than the front. PerformanceLifts.com also offers an effective rear block kit that can be used to safely and inexpensively raise the rear of the truck from 1" to 2" inches. The Icon 7-1500 coilover features a 2.50" diameter shock body that helps improves suspension dampening and handling while enhancing the vehicle performance on and off the road. This is a race quality shock absorber designed to provide superior performance on the street and still provide good off-road performance. The spring rate of the coil spring on the Icon coilover is a little higher than the factory spring, this provides a more performance oriented feel and better handling. Product Features:

Chromoly Cross-Pin This coilover system is a 100% bolt-on lift. Simply remove the factory front shock and spring assembly and replace it with the Icon coilover. This product can be installed by most customers in under an hour using basic hand tools. A front end alignment will be required if you adjust the coilovers to provide lift. Please note, these coilovers are NOT for use on models equipped with GM's Autoride System! Icon Vehicle Dynamics also offers a set of matched rear shock absorbers. The Icon #7-7500 rear shock absorber is available for purchase seperate from the coilover using the drop down box located beneath this item description.
