This Bilstein 24-197649 shock absorber has an ingeniously simple coil seat system that allows you to adjust the front ride height of your 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 or 2012 Nissan Titan. This item fits both the 2wd and 4wd models. By moving a heavy duty snap ring up or down the machined shock body you can increase or decrease the spring pre-load. By increasing the spring pre-load you increase the ride height of the suspension. Simply put, you can adjust in increments the lift height from stock all the way up to 2" inches over stock. Aftermarket wheels and larger than stock tire sizes may require trimming to clear, please verify correct fitment before purchase to eliminate any surprises. This shock is your absolute best bang-for-the-buck adjustable height leveling kit option for the Nissan Titan trucks. The best part, you can replace the factory shock with the well respected Bilstein 5100 series shock. The Bilstein 24-197649 (old part number is F4-BE5-D185-H0) will provide better on and off-road ride, an increase in height that you can adjust, so no matter how you look at it this is a win-win situation. This is an excellent alternative to high priced replacement coilovers! This Bilstein shock can provide you with three different ride heights, from 1/2" all the way to 2.00" above factory height in 3 positions.
