This Fabtech 6" Suspension Lift Kit fits 1999-2006 Silverado & Sierra 1500 4wd 1/2 ton pickup trucks. Fabtech engineers really earned their keep when they designed this kit. The 6" of front end lift is accomplished using one-piece cast drop down steering knuckles and heavy-duty 1/4" thick lower control arm crossmembers.This crossmember system also features a high arch design which helps maximize available ground clearance under the front end. Fabtechs combination of taller steering knuckles and high arched crossmembers really does provide superior ground clearance for those that need it. Going off-road? You need ground clearance and this kit delivers it. The front differential is relocated with a cradle style bracket using bushings at just the proper angle to allow the use of the factory front driveshaft. The solid steel billet sway bar end links with urethane bushings retain the factory front sway bar angle. The stock upper control arms and steering centerlink are retained in the factory posistion and do not have to be removed for installation. This means an easier install and a more factory like alignment. The front suspension is completed with crossmember impact struts and torsion bar drop down brackets. To ensure the rear is level with the front, Fabtech includes a 4" block and u-bolt kit as well as a 1.5" add-a-leaf kit. Kit Highlights:
