This Fabtech Silverado & Sierra K1500 4wd 6" Lift Kit is awesome! Fabtech engineers took new body style lift kit technology and applied to an old body style vehicle. The result? An awesome old body style Chevrolet and GMC 4wd 6" lift kit! The FTS21014 and FTS21015 box kits include everything necessary to lift your 1988-1998 GM K1500 4-wheel drive truck six inches. This kit provides enough room to clear a 35" diameter tire without a body lift. The 6 inches of front end lift is accomplished using one-piece cast drop down steering knuckles and heavy-duty 1/4 thick steel lower control arm crossmembers. This crossmember has a high arch design which helps maximize available ground clearance under the front end for off-road use. Fabtechs combination of steering knuckles and high arched crossmembers really does provide superior ground clearance for those that need it. Going off-road? You need ground clearance and this kit delivers it. The front differential is relocated with a cradle style bracket using bushings at just the proper angle to allow the use of the factory front driveshaft, without vibration. The stock upper control arms and steering components are retained in the factory posistion and do not have to be removed for installation. This means an easier install and a more factory like alignment. Plus Fabtech engineered this kit with more front wheel caster to help make turning a big set of 35" tires easier on both the driver and the truck itself. The front suspension is completed with crossmember impact struts and one-piece torsion bar mounts. Rear lift is accomplished using a 4" block and add-a-leaf combination that includes new extended length rear u-bolts. Kit Highlights:
