This awesome 7" lift system by Fabtech Motorsports is just what 2wd Silverado and Sierra 1500 owners have been waiting for. This kit takes up where the RCD kit left off. Using a similar design, Fabtech is proud to offer their new 7" subframe suspension lift kit for the 2004 and 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 2wd pickup trucks built on the torsion bar equipped IFS. Please note, this kit is designed to fit only 2004 and 2005 C1500 2wd pickup trucks equipped with the torsion bar independent front suspension. Unfortunately this kit will not fit coil spring IFS equipped 2wd trucks. This Fabtech 7" suspension lift system is designed to run a 315/75R16 or 315/70R16 tire - something that until now all other control arm lift kits could not boast. To properly clear a 35 or metric equivalent sized tire you must run an 8 wide wheel to prevent rubbing issues. Please note, running 35 or metric equivalent size tire may require light trimming of the front bumper valance. If your vehicle came equipped with 17" diameter wheels from the factory you must also run 17" or larger diameter aftermarket wheels. This Fabtech 7" subframe suspension lift includes new drop down subframes, torsion bar relocation brackets, replacement taller steering knuckles, impact struts that reinforce the lower subframe, and a rear block and u-bolt kit. New shock absorbers are required to complete the kit and these are available for purchase separately below. Lift System Contents:
