This new Fabtech C1500 Silverado & Sierra 2wd 7.5" Lift Kit is awesome! Fabtech engineers took new body style lift kit technology and applied it to an older body style vehicle. The result? An awesome old body style Chevrolet and GMC 7.5" 2wd lift kit! The FTS21024 and FTS21025 box kits include everything necessary to lift your 1988-1998 GM Extended Cab C1500 2-wheel drive truck seven and a half inches. This kit will ONLY FIT EXTENDED CAB MODELS and provides enough room to clear a 35" diameter tire without a body lift. The 7.50 inches of front end lift is accomplished using one-piece cast drop down steering knuckles and heavy-duty 1/4" thick steel lower control arm crossmembers. This crossmember has a high arch design which helps maximize available ground clearance under the front end for off-road use. Fabtechs combination of steering knuckles and high arched crossmembers really does provide superior ground clearance for those that need it. Going off-road? You need ground clearance and this kit delivers it. This kit also provides a relatively easy install and allows for a more factory like alignment. The Fabtech 7.5" C1500 kit even includes extended length brake hoses and front and rear bump stop mounts. Rear lift is accomplished using a 5" block and an extended length rear u-bolt kit. This kit will also fit the 1992-1999 Tahoe and Suburban, although Fabtech does not support this application. The 7.5" kit will also fit 1999 "Classic" body style C1500 vehicles. Fabtech offers a steering stabilizer kit that can be used with their suspension lift. The FTS8012 steering stabilizer system will help reduce steering wheel shake and vibration caused by larger off-road style tires. This is a very highly recommended addition to the Fabtech 7.5" kit!
