This Fabtech Ford F150 Subframe & Knuckle 6" Suspension Lift Kit is designed to fit most 4wd F150 trucks made between 1997-2003. It also fits the 2004 Heritage Edition 4wd F150. Since the introduction of Fords updated body style in 1997 with the SLA (Short Long A Arm) suspension, the 4wd Ford F150 chassis has proven itself as a true on and offroad performer. The Fabtech R&D team worked feverishly on the Ford SLA front suspension and came up with a system that enhances an already great performing vehicle. As with other Fabtech SLA (Short Long A Arm) 4WD suspension systems, Fabtech uses their awesome steering knuckle technology with high-arch lower crossmembers to gain the proper altitude. One of the main design objectives of this Fabtech F150 6" suspension lift system was to achieve a true six inches of lift over stock ride height without having to adjust or crank the torsion bars. Fabtech felt that unlike other systems on the market adjusting the torsion bars up was not an option. Fabtech placed the lower control arm bolt hole location a full six inches lower than stock and designed the rest of the system around this. This true six inch ride height increase allows the use of 315/75R16 tires on 16x9 wheels or 315/70R17 tires on 17x9 wheels. Please note, this Fabtech kit requires that wheels have no more than 4-5/8" of back space! System Features

Please note, the Fabtech front dual shock kit for this vehicle has been discontinued by Fabtech due to fitment problems with certain models and years. Shock absorbers are not included with this kit and are sold separately. This Fabtech FTS22000BK and FTS22001BK 6" suspension lift is designed to fit 4wd Ford F150 SuperCrew and F-150 SuperCab models only. Will not fit V6 or Standard cab F150 trucks. Standard cab F150s have an issue with the torsion bar drop down brackets and for this reason Fabtech does not recommend installing this kit on any Standard Cab F150.
