This Fabtech Motorsports 7.5" Performance Crossmember lift kit for the 2wd 1997-2003 Ford F-150 trucks is the best riding kit in this height and price range. By using a drop subframe and taller steering knuckles, Fabtech is able to lift the 2wd Ford F150 a full 7.5 inches without killing the ride or hurting the front end alignment. This new Fabtech F-150 lift system uses proven crossmember and steering knuckle technology found in the Fabtech 4wd IFS systems. The factory upper control arm remains in the stock frame pocket and attaches to a new extended length cast spindle... and the lower control arms are relocated into the one piece steel crossmembers. Extended length smooth ride coil springs provide increased ride height that will allow you to clear 35" or metric equivalent size tires. Rear lift is accomplished using a Fabtech 5" block and u-bolt kit. Finishing off this 7.5" lift kit is a set of four Fabtech shock absorbers. A recommended upgrade that Fabtech now offers, but that is not included with the kit, is the Fabtech steering stabilizer, part number FTS8019.
