This upper control arm kit is an excellent kit for owners looking to get 2.5 inches of lift out of their 2wd Ford Ranger. Fabtech designed a new tubular upper control that when combined with their new bumpstop kit allows for an additional 2 inches of front wheel travel. If you already own a Fabtech FTS98100-7 or FTS98200-7 3" lift spindle this 2.5" Performance System is an easy upgrade that will allow for the use of larger tires.

Please note: This item includes the control arm kit only, Fabtech part number FTS98100-6BJ. The coil springs displayed in the picture are purchased separately and are vehicle specific. We offer the coil springs for purchase using the selection boxes located beneath this item description.

Fabtech Ranger Kit Information:
This 2.5" Fabtech upper control arm kit fits all 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 Ford Ranger 2wd trucks built on the coil spring equipped chassis. This kit does NOT fit the Ranger Edge or 4x4 models! With the installation of the Fabtech Upper Arm Kit and 2.5" lift coil springs you can clear up to a 31x10" tire. Due to clearance issues with wider than stock tires Fabtech suggests an aftermarket wheel be used that has no more than 3.75" inches of back space. This means for most owners that stock wheels will not work with the Fabtech FTS98100-6BJ kit. The coil springs used in this kit are engine specific so be sure to select the correct spring for your truck when ordering. PerformanceLifts.com ONLY sells this control kit with the ball-joints pre-installed. You might see other companies offer a cheaper Fabtech 2.5" Upper Arm Kit but they probably do NOT include the ball-joints. This kit has the upper ball-joints pre-installed by Fabtech and is without any doubt the easy way to go.

If you are adding this 2.5" control arm and spring kit to an existing Fabtech 3" lift spindle kit please note that you may need additional rear lift and exptended length rear shocks to properly level the truck front to back. If you already have the alignment cam & bolt kit from the spindle installation you do NOT need to purchase another.
