This Fabtech FTS98300-7 Ford Ranger Edge 3" Lift Spindle Kit is designed to fit 2wd trucks only! The 2wd Ford Ranger Edge and now the newly renamed Sport is a rugged and stylish truck in need of an upgraded suspension system. For 2wd Ranger Edge and Ranger Sport owners seeking to maximize their trucks suspension performance and increase tire size, Fabtech Motorsports offers an effective 3" spindle lift system. This 3" lift for the 2001-2005 2WD Edge and 2006 through 2007 Ranger Sport series includes a pair of Fabtech FTS98300-7 3" lift spindles to help maintain a smooth stock like ride and provide clearance for larger tires. A Fabtech FTS202 2" lift rear add-a-leaf is available for truck owners that want to level their truck and is available for purchase separately below. Add a pair of Fabtech FTS9330 front shocks and FTS7333 rear shocks and your Ranger will be ready for action both on and off the road. New shock absorbers are not absolutely required but are strongly suggested because the stock Ford shock absorbers are not valved or designed to work with a larger and heavier than stock tire and wheel combo.Fabtech recommends a 32x11.50R15 tire mounted on a 15x7 wheel (a 15x8 wheel will work fine too) with no more than 3.75" inches of back space. For customers wanting to run a larger diameter wheel, 16" or 17" diameter wheels will work just fine too, just pay close attention to wheel width and back space! We have talked at length with Fabtech engineers and they claim to never have seen a single Ranger EDGE with a rotor other than the 11.25 diameter. Based on Fabtechs research this spindle will fit all 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 2wd Edge models. This item also fits the 2006 and 2007 Ranger Sport model equipped with the torsion bar front suspension. Many PerformanceLifts.com customers are running a 33" or 285/75/16 series tire with just the 3" Fabtech lift spindle and a 1" height adjustment of the torsion bars with little to no rubbing. New shocks and rear lift are optional and are not required to install the spindles. The FTS291 alignment cam and bolt kit is available but is generally NOT required. Most Ranger Edge and Sport owners are able to successfully align the vehicle WITHOUT the additional FTS291 cam and bolt kit.
