This is a genuine GM replacement hub assembly for the 2wd Silverado 1500 and 2wd Sierra 1500. It fits a pretty wide range of model years and vehicles, so make sure this is the correct item for your vehicle BEFORE you place the order! This replacement hub will also fit the 1/2 ton GM SUVs that use the 3-bolt 1/2 ton 2wd steering knuckles only! General Motors part number 15112380. Each hub assembly is brand new and includes the necessary ABS sensor and sensor wire. And yes, this is a Genuine GM Part... we purchase these from our local Chevrolet dealership, this is not an overseas cheapo hunk of junk like you might have seen elsewhere! If your lifted 2wd GM truck or SUV is experiencing steering wheel shake, or if a tire constantly feels out of balance, check your hubs. The GM 1/2 ton hub is known to wear out and should be replaced at the first sign of wear. One quick test is to raise each front tire off the ground and then attempt to rock the tire/wheel back and forth and side to side. If you can feel any play it is most likely the hub. Unfortunately GM hubs are not serviceable and must be replaced. There is no serviceable wheel bearing.
