Since way back in 1970, feedback from professional drivers has helped improve this now classic design. It might be a classic but it still works great! Its safe to say that every KC HiLiTES product that makes its way to market has graduated with honors from the school of hard knocks, the Daylighter is no different. This Daylighter includes the patented KC rubber shock mounting system. The KC HiLiTES shock mounting system was developed as a way to isolate the lamp unit from the mounting bracket or surface to which the light is mounted. This system successfully reduces lamp failure do to vibration and has been proven through the extremes of off road racing.
