This Daystar Urethane Spring Spacer Kit for 1997-2003 2wd Ford F150 trucks will provide approximately 2" inches of front suspension lift. The Daystar KF09105BK urethane spring spacer kit is are an effective and inexpensive way to lift your 1997-2003 2wd Ford F150 approximately 2 inches. These spring spacers are for use on 2wd Ford F150 trucks only! Daystar urethane spring spacer kits are designed to retain the stock coil springs and do NOT require aftermarket or replacement shock absorbers. New shocks are recommended as the stock factory shocks are not a true performance shock. With these spacers installed the ride quality will remain good, however, these spacers do limit the amount of downward travel. This reduction in travel may be noticable over larger holes or on uneven road surfaces. These 2" lift spacers can be installed at home with proper tools and care. - CAUTION - COIL SPRING REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION CAN BE DANGEROUS!!! Please follow all spring removal and installation precautions when installing these spacers. Due to the geometry (design) of the Ford F150 suspension a 1.5" inch thick spacer will provide approximately 2" of actual lift at the tires when taking before and after measurements. This is a simple spring spacer kit that can be used by itself to help level a stock F150 or in conjunction with a Fabtech spindle to achieve an inexpensive 5.00" suspension lift kit for a fraction of the cost of a complete 6" lift kit.
