This Rancho RS6588 and RS6588B 4" suspension lift is designed to fit the new body style 2004 model year Ford F150 4x4 trucks. Rancho's heavy duty extended cast ductile iron steering knuckle maintains optimal steering geometry and allows for precision alignment. Steering integrity is uncompromised by maintaining the stock location of the factory rack and pinion steering. Combined these features improve handling and eliminate bump steer. Ranchos exclusive high clearance one-piece sub-frame adds superior strength and stability to the vehicle and also precisely relocates the lower control arms and differential. The positioning of the differential is calibrated to correct both CV and drivetrain angles. This ensures a vibration free ride and protects components against premature wear. This system also allows for the use of the stock wheels and accommodates fitment of 35" or metric equivalent diameter tires. No drivetrain or exhaust modifications are necessary making this a complete bolt on system. The rear height is set to what Rancho considers the perfect level with new rear spacer blocks with integrated bump stop pads. Available are RS999769 front (Spring Seat) and RS999287 rear RS9000XL shock absorbers. This Rancho RS6588 / RS6588B 4" suspension lift will clear a 35x12.5x17 tire. Both the factory 17x7.5" and 18x7.5" wheels fit this kit. The maximum back space you can run with the Rancho 4" is 6.0 inches. Rancho offers the RS8718 (red) and RS8718B (black) skid plate for use with this kit. The front air dam may require slight trimming to prevent tire rub during off-road use. Please note: This kit is available in either Rancho Red or Outlaw Black finish. Please be sure to select your kit color when placing your. Due to small changes made to the F-150 design you must know the build date of your vehicle before placing your order.
