This RCD 10-42298 and 10-42198 6" suspension lift is designed to lift 2001-2007 model year 2wd Ford Ranger trucks built on the coil spring front suspension equipped chassis equipped with 11.25" diameter front brake rotors. This kit will not fit Ranger Edge models as the Edge is built on a torsion bar equipped chassis. Please note, this kit is designed ONLY for use on Ranger trucks equipped with 11.25" diameter front rotors. Ford Ranger trucks built and sold as 1998, 1999 and 2000 model years are normally equipped with a 10.50" rotor. If your Ranger is equipped with the 10.50" rotor this kit will NOT bolt on out of the box. To install the RCD 6" lift you must replace the 10.50" rotor with the newer 11.25" rotor size. This kit will provide sufficient lift to clear a 32" diameter tire. Some customers are running 285/75/16 tires that are the equivalent of a 33" diameter tire that's about 11.5" inches wide.
