Ford 98-04 Midsize 4wd Lifts : RCD 1998-2004 Ranger 4wd - 5" Lift
RCD 1998-2004 Ranger 4wd - 5" Lift
This is the RCD Ford Ranger suspension lift for 1998-2004 4x4 trucks only. The wait was definitely worth it! This RCD 5" suspension lift kit is designed to fit the 1998 through 2004 Ford Ranger 4x4 and Ranger Edge 4x4 models only. It will NOT fit on a 2wd Ranger or a 2wd Ranger EDGE edition. The 2wd trucks utilize a totally different steering knuckle! If your Ranger does not have 11.25" front brake rotors this kit will not fit. Please measure your rotor diameter BEFORE placing an order for this item!

This RCD #10-42498 IFS Coil Over Conversion System eliminates the factory torsion bars for a superior on and off-road ride and an increase in wheel travel. Plus it uses an integrated coilover shock that has a larger diameter body than a standard shock which means this new kit is ready for some serious off-road use. RCD's state of the art lower sub-frame and CNC machined replacement steering knuckles help maintain good steering geometry and make aligning the truck much easier. The heart of this kit is the new race quality coil over Bilstein shock absorbers and the RCD coil springs. Bilstein manufactures some of the finest shocks available and with this kit you get the same race quality products that have made Bilstein famous.

This RCD 5" Lift Kit Includes:
Bilstein Coil Over Shocks
RCD Coil Springs
Welded Steel Drop Sub-Frame
Cast Steering Knuckles
Subframe Strut Bars
Billet Steel Sway Bar Links
Stainless Steel Braided Front Brake Hoses
Rear Add-a-Leaf and Shackle
Rear U-Bolts
Bilstein 5100 Series Rear Shocks
All Hardware Necessary For Installation
Detailed Instructions

No drive shaft modifications are necessary for installation. A replacement aftermarket front driveshaft is recommended as the factory shaft may wear out prematurely. Please note that this kit requires welding to install. For safety reasons the welding should be done by a professional welder. If the welds were to fail you could lose control of the vehicle and crash. If you are not a professional welder you will require professional assistance to ensure proper installation of this kit! RCD recommends a 33x12.50 tire be used with this kit. Please note that wheel back space must not exceed 4.00 inches. Some customers have successfully run larger tires with this kit, however, the largest tire recommended remains 33" inches in diameter. Please do not e-mail us asking if a larger tire will fit... the answer we always provide is what RCD tells us to tell you... If you want to run a larger tire it's your truck :) and if you want to make it work we say go for it. Please note that this RCD 5" lift is designed to work with manual or electronic front hub equipped vehicles only. This 5" RCD Ranger lift is not designed to work with pulse vacuum hub equipped vehicles, you can however drill and tap holes to allow installation of this kit onto a vehicle that has the PVH system.
