CST also includes an extended steering knuckle (aka spindle) that retains the upper control arm in the factory position. This design maintains a very safe front CV angle for the front axle shafts. It also provides a full 7" of lift and does so without noticeably reducing the ride quality. The factory front coil over shock is relocated using a massive steel drop down bracket. Another great thing about this new Nissan Titan kit is it retains the factory track width. This means the front and rear track widths are not out of proportion - this might not sound very impressive, but if youve ever seen a truck with a really wide front end and a narrow rear end you know how ugly that can be. Levels Truck Front to Rear CST recommends using an 8" wide wheel with no more than 5 inches of back space. Some customers are running 9" wide wheels without any problems but an 8" wide wheel is preferred as it will not stick out past the fenders - this helps keep dirt and mud off the side of the truck and reduces the chance of tire to fender contact.
