The ReadyLift 66-3085 2.25" lift is designed to level the front of 2007 and newer Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickup trucks built on the T900 chassis. This leveling kit will work on both 2wd and 4wd models. The 2007 and newer GM half-ton pickups are built on an all new chassis and this required an all new leveling kit design. ReadyLift offers one of the most complete and well thought out leveling kits on the market. The new GM trucks look awesome. At first it was difficult to get used to a new style but after some time it's really evolved into a great looking truck. The most noticeable part of the new GM trucks is the front end sits considerably lower than the rear. More and more consumers are discovering that these GM trucks look much better sitting with a level stance. By raising the front of your Silverado or Sierra 1500 2.25" inches you get the great looks of a level truck and the ability to run a slightly larger than stock tire or wheel size. Most customers are running a tire that is approximately 33" inches in diameter. This combination of 2.25" of lift and a larger than stock tire diameter will help increase front end ground clearance by up to 3.5" inches over stock! This increase in ground clearance is especially helpful if you need to travel off-road or in deep snow and don't want to "plow" the road with the underside of your new truck. PerformanceLifts.com is offering a 3" rear block kit for customers that want to raise the back of their truck 1" over stock. The Silverado and Sierra are factory equipped with a 2" block. When replacing the factory block with a 3" block you will achieve 1" inch of lift over stock. The block lift includes extended length U-bolts and all hardware required for installation. With 2.25" of front lift and 1" of rear lift the truck will still have some rake and this is helpful if you tow or haul frequently. Installation: The ReadyLift leveling kit is a 2-piece design. The kit includes a pair of aluminum strut spacers that install on top of the factory strut studs. This spacer does not require cutting the factory strut studs which allows you to easily return the vehicle to stock if you decide to. The second piece of the ReadyLift kit is a billet aluminum spacer that installs under the lower strut mounts between the strut and the control arm. This design can be installed using basic hand tools and does NOT require the use of a strut or spring compressor. Detailed printed instructions are included that provide you with all of the information you will need to install this leveling kit. An alignment will be necessary upon completion.
