The ReadyLift 66-3090 1.5" lift leveing kit is designed to level the front of 2007, 2008, and 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe and Subruban 1500, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL 1500, and Cadillac Escalade vehicles built on the new front strut equipped chassis. This leveling kit will work on both 2wd and 4wd models. The 2007 and newer GM half-ton SUV's are built on an all new chassis and this required an all new leveling kit design. ReadyLift offers one of the most complete and well thought out leveling kits on the market. This product allows you to select the amount of front end lift you want, offering 1", 1.25", or 1.5" of lift over stock height. This is very nice as not all GM SUV's require the same amount of front end lift to sit level. The new GM SUV's look pretty good right off the dealership lot. More and more consumers are discovering that the GM SUV's look much better sitting with a level stance. By raising the front of your Suburban, Tahoe, or Yukon you get the great looks of a level vehicle and the ability to run a slightly larger than stock tire or wheel size. Most customers are running a tire that is approximately 32" inches in diameter. This combination of 1.5" of lift and a larger than stock tire diameter will help increase front end ground clearance by up to 2.5" inches over stock! This increase in ground clearance is especially helpful if you need to travel off-road or in deep snow and don't want to "plow" the road with the underside of your SUV. Installation:
The ReadyLift 66-3090 leveling kit is a multi-piece adjustable design. The kit includes a pair of strut spacers machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The spacer installs on top of the factory strut studs. This spacer kit does not require cutting the factory strut studs which allows you to easily return the vehicle to stock if you decide to. This leveling kit can be installed using basic hand tools and does NOT require the use of a strut or spring compressor. Detailed printed instructions are included that provide you with all of the information you will need to install this leveling kit. An alignment will be necessary upon completion.
