This Rancho 3" lift kit is designed to fit all 1995-1997 model year Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ vehicles. This kit includes replacement coil springs that will provide approximately 3" of front lift and 2" of rear lift. By raising the front more than the rear Rancho is able to help level the Grand Cherokee ZJ front to rear. RS6659 - Rear Box Kit Shocks are not included with this lift. Rancho offers three different shock absorbers for use with this kit. The RS5000 shock is Rancho's least expensive shock and is priced that way for a reason. The RS5000 shock is not adjustable and rides on the firm side. The RSX series shock is Rancho's auto-adjusting shock absorber. A special valve system inside the shock allows the shock to adjust itself to the road surface you are driving on. The RSX works well on and off-road and is an excellent shock absorber for this application where manual control of the shocks is not wanted. The RS9000X shock is Rancho's best adjustable shock absorber that they offer for this application. The RS9000X can be adjusted to one of nine settings, anything from super soft to super firm, with plenty of settings in between.
