This Rancho RS6489 (Red) 4" suspension lift is designed to fit the 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 F150 4x4 pickup trucks (except the standard cab short bed) that are equipped with the 5.4L V8. This kit will NOT work with manual transmission equipped trucks! The Rancho RS6489 and RS6489B 4" F-150 suspension lift kit increases ride height a full 4" inches and allows the use of up to 35" tall tires without fender modifications. The Black SuperCrew F150 displayed in the picture is running a set of 35x12.5x18 BFG Mud Terrain tires mounted on 18x10 Weld EVO Series wheels. This Rancho 4" suspension lift kit includes precision machined, heavy-duty replacement cast steering knuckles for optimized steering geometry (no ball joint spacers), a fully welded cradle style sub-frame that ensures structural integrity and durability, and heavy-duty torsion bar cross member relocation brackets. The rear of the F150 is lifted using a standard block and u-bolt kit. Add a set of Rancho RS5000 or Rancho RS9000XL shock absorbers and you've got a great lift combination that makes the Ford F-150 ride and handle as good as it looks. Lift Kit Footnotes:
