The rack & pinion is also protected by sturdy cross members that link together an integrated 2-piece 4-point skid plate. The included Skyjacker exclusive re-indexing ring and seal adapter also mean there is no replacement or modification necessary to the front drive shaft with this kit. This kit includes a set of replacement rear Softride leaf springs that provide a full height lift without the axle wrap common with tall block lifts. This Skyjacker 6 kit achieves a full 6 inches of lift and even helps to soften those bumpy roads that cant even be seen from the pavement! For those owners looking for maximum strength and reliability Skyjacker also offers a set of lateral strut bars. Skyjacker claims these bars show-off your readiness in a big, bold way. PerformanceLifts.com thinks they are good idea because they help strengthen the lowered subframe and protect it from damage should you smack a rock or a log during your off-road adventures.
