This Total Chaos Nissan Titan upper control arm kit is designed to improve on the stock design. The arms are built using 1.25" chromoly tube and incorporate a 1.00" uniball. Replacing the factory ball-joint with a steel uni-ball and pin eliminates the weak link in the factory upper control arm. That's good because when the factory joint breaks off-road bad things can happen in a hurry. If you thrash on your Titan out in the dirt you owe it to yourself to upgrade to the Total Chaos arm. To make installation as easy as possible a tapered adapter is included that allows the use of a uni-ball pivot without requiring any machine work to the factory (or aftermarket) spindle. That means no drilling is required and if you want to revert back to stock you can do so very easily. 1) They can be used with a PRG Leveling Kit to allow full travel of the factory shock and to increase wheel travel.
2) They are a great upgrade to Rancho/CST kits and allow the full amount of down travel without interference between the a-arm and the coil bucket. This helps provide the most travel from the stock shock or coilover upgrade.
