This kit is designed to fit all 1999.5-2004 Ford F250/F350 SuperDuty and 2000-2005 Excursion models. Please note, this kit ONLY for 4x4 models! Ford owners pay attention - its easy to dismiss this as just another lift kit. It might look similar to other kits but believe us when we say its hands down better than the rest! The Donahoe Racing Super Duty lift kits are built without taking any shortcuts or compromises. You pay more, you get more. Simple as that. Customers are blown away at how much better the Edge kit rides when compared to other kits! The Edge line of kits include laser cut pieces to ensure a precise fit and then finishes up with some of the prettiest and strongest welds youll ever see in a production lift kit. This hanger kit uses a 4.5" drop spring hanger and extended shackles in conjunction with the stock springs to provide an honest 4.5" inches of front lift. The beauty of the spring hanger is it allows the stock springs to be reused, increases usable wheel travel, saves money, and offers an even smoother than stock ride. The 4.5" front hanger kit is leveled with either a 2 or 3" rear lift block in the rear. A 2 or 3" rear block is available and the correct block height depends on customer preference. If you want a taller rear block a 4 block is also available (additional cost) to give your truck a more factory looking stance. This kit will level out AND lift the stance of the F-250, F-350, and Excursion, giving your vehicle a great look. Better yet, it still maintains the ability to tow with ease because tow ratings are NOT affected with this kit. Upgrading to a higher quality than stock shock absorber does wonders for the ride quality and really improves on and off-road handling. Please note that shock absorbers are NOT included with the kit and must be purchased separately. For customers looking for an even more custom tailored lift kit, Donahoe Racing now offers their Signature Series line of shock absorbers. The DRE Signature Series shocks have a machined finish (silver) that is then clear coated for excellent resistance to rust and staining. Each Donahoe Racing Signature Series shock is custom valved for use with Donahoe Racing suspension systems. PerformanceLifts.com also offers the Bilstein 5100 Series shock for use with this kit. The Bilstein 5100 also has a machined silver finish and rides very nice both on and off-road.
