This Performance 4" Lift Suspension Package is designed to fit the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 model year Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban 1500 and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL 1500. This lift package will ONLY fit 2wd models. This CST 4" Lift Spindle used to raise the front of the vehicle is far less expensive and much easier to install than a subframe or bracket style lift. PerformanceLifts 2000-2006 GM SUV 4" Lift Package # CSK-C1-2SUV. Because the front suspension height increase is provided by simply replacing the steering upright the factory front shock absorbers can be retained. We do offer replacement front shocks if your existing shocks are worn out. Because this lift can retain the factory front shock this lift is ideal for customers that have a computer controlled front shock. The torsion bars are not adjusted to achieve the 4" inches of lift which means the vehicle ride is not altered. This lift maintains a stock like ride that is excellent for those that really rack up the freeway or highway miles. The included rear lift will raise the rear of your vehicle approximately 3" inches. If additional rear lift is required we do offer coil spring spacers that can increase the total rear lift height to 4" inches over stock.
Please note that shock absorbers are not included with this lift package for a number of reasons. One, not every customer wants to install the same shock. We offer low cost shocks and we offer higher performance shocks. You can select the shock that best meets your needs and budget. The other reason is because this lift can also be installed on vehicles equipped with AutoRide. If your vehicle has AutoRide you will retain your existing front and rear shocks but you MUST select the AutoRide Rear Kit Upgrade. If your vehicle has standard rear shocks you will need to select a replacement shock from the options we offer as the stock shocks will be too short for use with the rear lift. For non-AutoRide vehicles a high quality set of rear shock absorbers will also considerably improve the handling and ride of a lifted vehicle.
The included standard rear lift includes a pair of replacement 3" lift coil springs, bump stop extensions and sway bar extensions. For AutoRide vehicles the rear kit adds AutoRide shock extensions and a pair of AutoRide Sensor Links.
Please Note:
Wheels must not have more than 4.50 inches of back space. Stock wheels will NOT work with this lift package.
