Yes, this revised part number CSS-C1-12 has been redesigned to properly fit both the Short Bed and Long Bed trucks.

By installing this CST 4" spindle a Chevrolet or GMC HD owner can clear up to a 35" tire with minor trimming on the plastic air dam. This item is less expensive and easier to install than a bracket or drop subframe style lift. Plus, you get excellent ground clearance with this kit! If your budget is tight this spindle lift works just fine with your existing stock length front shocks. Performance Lifts does offer optional performance shocks that can be purchased separately using the selection boxes located near the Add To Cart button. If your budget allows, PerformanceLifts.com recommends the stock shocks be replaced when installing the CST spindle lift. The stock shocks are not designed to control the added weight of larger wheels and off-road tires and the ride they provide proves this. An upgraded shock absorber will considerably improve the handling and ride of a lifted vehicle both on the pavement and off-road. PerformanceLifts.com recommends using a good quality shock absorber when installing this lift. The CST, Bilstein 5100, Rancho RS9000XL series shock absorbers work great with this lift. Spending a little more money on quality shock absorbers, even for use on a "street" truck, is money well spent. A quality shock absorber is the key to achieving a good on and off-road ride quality. Cheap "off-road" shocks aren't the correct choice if pavement ride quality is what you seek!

The rear of your Silverado or Sierra HD can be lifted using a simple and reliable lift block and extended length u-bolt kit. You can select the rear block lift height that will provide the stance you want. Because everyone seems to want something different PerformanceLifts.com offers different rear block heights that allow you to achieve the exact look you want. When running the CST CSS-C1-12 Lift Spindles by themselves a 2" rear block kit will level most Silverado or Sierra HD trucks. The white truck in the product image has the CST 4" Lift Spindles and a 2" Rear Block installed and has a very level stance. When running a torsion bar adjustment or torsion key lift in conjunction with the CST 4" lift spindle you may need a 3" or 4" rear block to achieve a level stance. When lifting the rear of your truck more than 2" inches over stock height you should also replace the stock length rear shock absorbers with a longer version matched to the lift height. This California SuperTrucks CSS-C1-12 spindle lift will increase front track width approximately 1-3/8 inch per side.

Please Note:
Aftermarket 16" or 17" diameter wheels must not have more than 4-5/8 inches of back space. Larger diameter wheels (20" or greater diameter) can generally have more back space than smaller diameter wheels. Stock factory GM wheels will NOT work with these CST lift spindles!
