This lift has been designed to fit all 1500HD, 2500HD and 3500 SRW Heavy Duty Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra Trucks sold as 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 or 2010 model years. CST Performance Suspension is an American Company employing American craftsman! The CSS-C3-9 kit is designed to provide 9" inches of lift using a one-piece welded subframe. This is good for a few reasons.... It means front axle shaft joint angles remain well within factory tolerances and this reduces the likelihood of premature CV joint wear or failure. It also keeps the steering geometry in check which improves the steering feel and both slow and high speeds on and off-road. The GM engineers spent untold hours designing the steering system on your truck, and for good reason. CST understands this and tries very hard to maintain factory geometry. This ensures your truck will drive and handle as the engineers designed it to. In other words, when you turn the steering wheel the truck will actually turn. A few "other" kits on the market handle like garbage... just ask their owners! We've replaced quite a few other manufacturers kits with this one because the customer wasn't happy. Do it right and spend more for the CST lift and you'll only cry once.

The CST 9-11" kit does not require a new steering upright or require the installation of CV spacers like other kits do. Why is this important? The CST kit does not drastically widen the front of the vehicle like other kits do and a narrower front track width means less wear and tear on steering and suspension related components and the ability to run larger tire and wheel combos! It also opens up a wider range of possible wheel choices. The ability to use a wheel with more backspace means more choices are available to you. The CST 9-11" Lift System includes the now famous CST 1-piece welded subrame along with strut bar supports that increase strength and really lock the suspension into the frame. Supported upper control arm drop mounts, a Heim joint (rod ends) equipped steering linkage, and the awesome CST gloss black powder coat make this kit look as good as it performs.

To complete this kit you will also need to purchase front and rear shock absorbers. CST recommends their Dual Shock System with their Dirt Series 2.0 Reservoir Shocks for use with this lift. The Dirt Series shocks are a race quality rebuildable shock that is similar in appearance to a FOX 2.0 Factory Series shock but with one important difference, the CST shocks ride WAY BETTER than the FOX shocks do. If your 4wd 2500HD or 3500 SRW is equipped with an Allison transmission you are not required to run an aftermarket front driveshaft but it is recommended for customers that operate their truck in 4wd at speeds above 15mph. Without the replacement front driveshaft you may pick up a driveline vibration. Our recommendation is install the kit, put the truck in 4wd and test drive it. If you notice a vibration in 4wd you need the replacement front drive shaft... if you don't notice any vibration the drive shaft isn't required.
