The CSC-D3-2 3" Lift Coil Springs are designed only for use on 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 engine equipped 2wd vehicles and will NOT work on any 4wd, 2500, or 3500 series Ram truck. The CSC-D3-2 Coil Springs will NOT fit Ram Mega Cab 1500 2wd models! For customers that also want to lift the rear of their Ram 1500 truck we also offer Rear Suspension Lifts, available for purchase separately using the selection boxes located above this item description.

On Quad Cab or Crew Cab trucks equipped with the V8 Engine option the actual lift height may be less than 3" inches.

For 2013+ vehicles CST recommends installation of their CSC-D3-3 part number.

To complete the leveling kit new front shocks are recommended. This is because the 3" lift coil springs require more rebound shock valving than a truck with stock coil springs. The front shock absorber on the 2002-2012 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd Truck is designed to limit the amount of front suspension extension (rebound) travel. If you replace the factory front shocks with one that is too long in the extended length it can allow the factory upper control arm to make contact with the side of the frame. This can cause a clunking noise and eventually may cause damage to the front suspension components. Yes, you can run a longer extended length front shock but this MAY allow the upper arm to make contact with the frame.

This CST 3" Coil Spring Lift is excellent for customers looking to get rid of the factory tail high raked look and will level most Ram 1500 2wd Trucks. The CST CSC-D3-2 3" Lift Coil Springs are an ideal solution for customers that want to retain their stock wheels and tires. With this kit a 33" tire will fit when mounted on factory Dodge wheels. For customers wanting to run larger than 33" tires we suggest either the CST 4" Spindle Lift or the Fabtech 6" Suspension System found elsewhere on this site. recommends having a professional install CST Coil Springs and suggests that all customers get the vehicle professionally aligned once the springs have been installed.

Please note: on some Quad Cab and Crew Cab Ram 1500 Trucks the actual lift height achieved may be less than 3" inches. The actual lift height is normally somewhere between 2.5" and 3" inches on these models. CST does not recommend this spring be used on any V6 Engine equipped Ram 1500 2wd trucks because the lift height may slightly exceed 3" inches and may be more difficult to align. It is not possible to combine this CST 3" Lift Spring with any type of Coil Spring Spacer in an attempt to achieve more than 3" inches of total lift.

Pleased with these coilsReview by Erik
I put these on my 2011 crew cab with the 4.7 V8 and love them. They are slightly stiffer than stock, but I like that. I'm running 285/70/17 on 8.5" wide wheels. The only thing I wish is that I had done this sooner.
I rated them a 3 on price. The price is fair and who wouldn't want to always get a lower price?
I rated them a 4 on value and quality. For the look and ride I was expecting these are right where I expected. I just don't rate anything the top score (but these are top notch). (Posted on 4/27/2014)
