About the kit...
The CST 8" Nissan Titan 2wd suspension lift will lift the front suspension a full 8 inches beyond stock height. This is accomplished using an extra stout drop 1-piece welded subframe and a CST designed and built fabricated lift spindle. The spindle used in the Titan kit is not a cheap cast part, instead its fabricated by hand from ultra strong steel plate and tube and machined to the exact tolerances required to make sure everything fits just right. Going with the stronger is better theory, CST also made sure that the weak upper control arm was replaced with a heavy duty tubular steel arm that's designed to work with the new fabricated lift spindle. The end product is the new Titan spindle and control arm assembly would make a sledgehammer jealous. It may look simple in design, but this CST 8" Titan lift kit has countless hours of engineering and real world testing. The result is a front suspension system that's stronger than stock. A big truck with big tires needs to have the strongest components available to ensure years of trouble-free use. A common problem with lifted trucks is upper control arm ball joint wear. What did CST do to solve this problem? They borrowed technology and components found on 1/2 million dollar off-road racing trucks and used them in their new Titan kit. CST ditched the weak upper ball joint and replaced it with a uni-ball, also known as a spherical bearing. Double the strength means increased reliability and more peace of mind when you head off-road.
Nothing CST Performance Suspension builds is cheap. CST pricing is higher than its competitors but CST quality IS better. You will NOT find a nicer Titan lift kit, a stronger kit, or a more reliable kit on the market at any price. With CST you do get what you pay for. Are cheaper kits available? You bet.
